Asked by Ryan Hogan, Hippie Farms (farm-grown supplement brand on Shopify, Amazon and Faire; building a menopause launch)
"Take every supplement funnel in the library that sells to women 40 to 65, with the menopause and perimenopause brands first (Happy Mammoth, Bonafide, O Positiv, or whichever you have). Walk the whole path from the ad to the first repeat charge. On the landing page or advertorial, how do they answer 'will this work for me?' before the offer shows up? What does the checkout pre-select (subscription, bottle count, order bump)? And what do the first two weeks of post-purchase email and SMS actually say? Where do these funnels agree, where do they split, and what do the longest-running ones do that the newer ones skip?"
The short version. The library has seven funnels that sell supplements to women 40 to 65 with a menopause or midlife-hormone frame: Happy Mammoth, BBCo Provitalize (captured twice, a year apart), Arctic Goddess (captured twice), Primera / NewEra Protect, Rejuveen, Sculptique and Rosabella. Bonafide and O Positiv are not in the library. All seven answer "will this work for me?" the same way: they rename the problem as a hormonal root cause that doctors miss, put a results-or-free guarantee next to the first CTA, and let women aged 49 to 57 say it worked in their own words. They split hard at the checkout. The two oldest brands sell one-time only, no bump, and push a 3-bottle path through post-purchase upsells. The newer ones pre-select a subscription (Arctic Goddess ships every 24 days) and skip the upsells. Email in the first two weeks is where the oldest brands do the most work: BBCo runs a daily habit series for 12 days before it asks for anything, while Arctic Goddess sends five transactional emails and then nothing for a month.
We searched every funnel folder, the FOTW host commentary and the 17,096-entry media index for menopause, perimenopause, hormone, hot flash, "over 40 / over 50" and "mature women". A funnel is in the core set if its own page copy or the FOTW host names women 40+ or menopause as the target. Brands that sell to women on a hormone angle but skew younger are listed as adjacent and used only where their mechanics are instructive.
| Brand | Product and frame | Who the page says it is for | Captures in library | Evidence available | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Happy Mammoth | Hormone Harmony, $59.99/jar. "Complete hormone balancing system" | Quiz asks age (Less than 30 / 31 to 44 / 45+) and stage (Perimenopause / Menopause / Post Menopause / PCOS…). FOTW host: "focuses on menopause-related products" | Nov 2024 (course space, 19 lessons) | Quiz, landing page, checkout, 2 upsells, thank-you, 24 post-purchase emails, 7 BFCM emails, video breakdown notes | Core |
| BBCo Provitalize | Provitalize probiotic, $53/bottle. Menopause weight (2025 lander), then hip pain from low estrogen (2026 lander) | "The most misdiagnosed condition in women aged 50-75". Testimonials aged 51 to 57. ~30% desktop traffic, host reads that as an older audience | Apr 2025 (course) and Jan 2026 (Circle breakdown + video) | Two landers, order form, checkout, 2 OTOs, thank-you, 24 + 25 post-purchase emails, 6 + 8 abandon-cart emails | Core |
| Arctic Goddess | Reindeer Organ Superfood, $89 one-time or $59 every 24 days. "Estrogen balancing" for "mature women" | "Women 30-65+ are robbed of their best years". Host: "target market is women 35+ with hormonal issues". Sister brand of Norse Organics and Frøya | Jul 2025 (course) and Oct 2025 (scraped landers, quiz, checkouts) | 3 listicle landers, hormone quiz, sales page, cart, both checkouts, 6 emails | Core |
| Primera / NewEra Protect | Bladder-support capsule, $69/bottle on ClickBank, VSL front end | "Women Only". Host: "40 plus that demographic", "obviously targeting more boomer age people"; upsell 4 is "hormonal health all around like menopause" | Jun 2025 (course + breakdown video) | VSL page, order form, 4 VSL upsells, 48 emails | Core |
| Rejuveen | Provitalean (post-GLP-1 rebound), Uflora (UTI / vaginal health), Osteva (joints) | FOTW analysis of 1,710 static ads: "Women, 40-65, who feel dismissed by the medical system", age signals in hundreds of ads | Mar 2026 (course + ad-library breakdown) | PDP, checkout crops, 3 landers, 16 emails | Core |
| Sculptique | Lymphatic drainage capsules, $29.99 to $89.99 | "After 35 it stops working" on the PDP; ad account sells to "a scared 50-to-80 medical buyer" | Jul 2026 (Circle breakdown) | Winner PDP, checkout, 3 OTOs, SMS popup, thank-you consultation page. No emails | Core |
| Rosabella | Moringa capsules, $39.95 BOGO, energy and "puffiness" | Email day 21: "Your body stopped making THIS after 40". Ads are problem-aware women's health | Oct 2025 (Circle breakdown + course) | Lander, cart, order bump, checkout, 3 upsells, 22 emails | Core |
| Primal Queen | Beef organ capsules for women, subscription Starter Kit | Founder story is set at age 28; "formulated by women, for women". Hormone angle, younger skew | Mar 2025 (course) | Sales page, checkout, 2 upsells, bump, 21 emails | Adjacent |
| SkinnyFit | Collagen, $5.95 trial into $99.90/month | Quiz breather: "Women aged 35-44 with similar concerns had a 94% success rate". Broad | Jan 2025 | Advertorial, PDP, checkout, 5 upsells, 28 emails | Adjacent |
| Obvi, HUM Nutrition | Collagen Burn; personalised vitamin routine | HUM's own audience data: mostly 25-34. Obvi: weight-loss collagen, no age frame | 2024-25 | Full funnels and emails | Excluded |
Ad. FOTW's breakdown with Adil Mourjane: mostly short UGC video on Meta, "ads focus on product benefits rather than extensive education about menopause", because the market is already aware. Traffic is spread over several landing domains (Happy Mammoth, "Stacey's blog", "Menno Daily") to spread compliance risk. Specific pain language: "apron belly".
Pre-offer. The quiz is the "will this work for me?" device. Step 1 asks for the buyer's age band. A later step asks her to pick her stage from Estrogen Dominance, Perimenopause, Menopause, Post Menopause, PMS, Hormone Imbalance, PCOS. Symptom steps use pictures (hot flashes, night sweats, stubborn weight gain, fluid retention). Email is captured before results. The long-form landing page then leads with a timeline promise and a guarantee: headline "The Complete Hormone Balancing System Works in 9 Days", guarantee block "Either It Works, Or It's FREE!" placed before the science section.

Checkout. Shopify. One jar of Hormone Harmony at $59.99, one-time. The host is explicit: "No subscription model offered." No order bump. Two checkboxes: "Get personalized tips from our health experts" and "Join our VIP Savings Club". Three customer reviews sit inside the order summary, and a "We are reserving your cart for 09:45 minutes" banner runs on top.
Post-purchase. Upsell 1 is more Hormone Harmony. Upsell 2 is Complete Belly Reset, 2 jars for $99.98 (was $139.98), with a 10-minute timer and "Only 174 bottles at this price". The thank-you page carries an attribution survey ("Which of the following led you to purchase today?") and two more reviews. On the test order the card was charged three times: $127.19, $105.98 and $105.98, for a thank-you total of $339.15.

This is the only menopause brand captured twice. In April 2025 FOTW walked the GLP-1 lander (thebbco.com/pages/pp-provitalize-m-glp1). In January 2026 it walked the hip-pain lander (thebbco.com/pages/provitalize-j-gt-rpl). The checkout, upsells and email sequence are the same on both dates. The front-end angle changed; the machine behind it did not.
Ad. Volume image ads with very long story copy, 94% static. The host's example headline: "My husband stopped kissing me at 217 pounds. I divorced him at 147", written in the voice of "a 48-year-old woman", and a second: "I spent $10,000 on weight shots to save my marriage." Ads run from persona and topic pages ("Menopause and Me" ~300 ads, "Best Probiotics For Menopause" ~2,200). FOTW notes the copywriter, William, could not find winners selling "logic-first" and switched to "an emotion-first, story-driven approach" after reading the most popular books and subreddits among women.
Pre-offer, 2026 lander. Headline is the guarantee: "Sleep On Your Side Again In 90 Days, Or It's Free". Second block renames the problem: "The Most Misdiagnosed Condition In Women Aged 50-75? Gluteal Tendinopathy", then "GT Is A HORMONAL Problem" (low estrogen, collagen, stiff tendons). Then "How Quickly Can I See Results?", then "Over 9 Million Bottles Sold. Over 3 Million Lives Changed", then the 3-bottle bundle and "All Orders Are One-Time Purchases Only."
Pre-offer, 2025 lander. "Over 2,000,000+ Women Fought Menopause, Thanks To Provitalize", "Provitalize Also Works For Women Who Are Going Through Pre or Post Menopause", and a 24-question FAQ headed "Still Deciding? Read The Top 24 Questions Customers Had Asked Before Ordering", which includes, verbatim: "Will Provitalize work for me if I'm not dieting or working out?", "I'm lucky enough to be able to maintain my shape during menopause. Is Provitalize still useful for me?", "Does Provitalize interact with thyroid medications?", "Is this a one-time purchase?"

Checkout. Shopify, no cart page. 1 bottle $53 plus $5.25 shipping (the host flags that shipping is not shown on the lander). No order bump. A consent line that both captures share: "I understand that one-time purchases are backed by a 90-day money-back guarantee only for my first order. Subscriptions do not have a minimum commitment and are not covered by a money-back guarantee." SMS opt-in checkbox with carrier disclaimer.
Post-purchase. OTO 1: "Add 2 Bottles Of Provitalize @ 51% OFF", $49, with the argument that probiotics need 90 days to colonise, "This is why so many women opt to buy at least 3 bottles", testimonial "Caryn P, 53, USA". OTO 2: Previtalize prebiotic, 1 bottle at 30% off ($35), testimonials aged 51, 53 and 57. Thank-you page: order total $142.25, survey, and a "Cancel One-Time Order" button with "For autoship cancellations, message us here." The host: "first time I see such a well thought out upsell on Shopify."

Ad. Static image carousels from the brand page and from an AI-generated "Nutritionist" persona page run by the parent (Norse Organics). FOTW's Q3 2026 dashboard for the Norse group counts 12,709 active Meta ads across 33 pages. Ad volume to Arctic Goddess splits roughly 50/50 between the homepage and the PDP, with a small share to an "advertorial hybrid" page.
Pre-offer. Three listicle landers, each a variation on the same frame: "12 Reasons Why This Estrogen Balancing is Melting Stubborn Belly Fat for Mature Women in 2026" (by "Dr. Shah"), "Breakthrough Reindeer Organ Supplement Crushes Beef Organs and Transforms Mature Women's Estrogen Levels" (by "Dr. Amara"), "10 Reasons Why This Belly & Thighs Fat Melter is Trending for Mature Women" (by "Jamie C."). The "will this work for me?" work is done by naming the buyer ("Women 30-65+ are Robbed of Their Best Years (And it's Not Your Fault)"), by a comparison table (Arctic Goddess vs "Difficult" vs "Costly", "97% of women"), by a testimonial with age ("Lauren C. (49)") and by a 99-day guarantee in the FAQ: "Hormonal Balance In 99 Days or Your Money Back", alongside "Can this be used post-menopause?". The hormone quiz page opens with "LET'S BUILD YOUR HORMONE PLAN. What changes have frustrated you the most recently?" (stubborn weight gain, low energy, poor sleep, hot flashes / night sweats).

Checkout. Shopify. The buy box toggle "SUBSCRIBE & SAVE $30" is on: $59 vs $89, "Deliver every 24 days". The on-page cart adds "Add one more Jar and get FREE SHIPPING". The checkout header is a proof bar: "581,329+ Rebalanced Women · 4.8 stars · Since 2019 · Results or Money Back · 1-5 Day Delivery". Shipping is $7.90 for the first shipment and "$7.90 every 24 days" after. No order bump. The host: "There's no upsell off the checkout purchase." The host's own note on the 24-day cycle: 15.2 shipments a year instead of 12, "sophisticated subscription economics disguised as customer-centric product design".

Ad and pre-offer. A ClickBank VSL funnel. The offer-drop headline: "Revealed: The Hidden Weakness Causing Bladder Leaks (Women Only)". FOTW's guest host: the lead "really pulls back on those punching the gut stories that were all the rage", and the funnel wins by "executing direct response fundamentals exceptionally well". The "will this work for me?" answer sits in the FAQ under the price grid: "What If It Doesn't Work For Me?", "Are There Any Side Effects?", plus a "60-Day, 100% Money-Back Guarantee" badge and "100% All Natural" feature strip.
Checkout. ClickBank order form. Three tiers: 1 bottle $69, 3 bottles $59 each ("YOU SAVE $188"), 6 bottles $49 each ("YOU SAVE $414"). Two free bonuses (Pelvic Floor Strong, Simple Strength) only on 3 or 6. Free shipping only on 3 or 6; 1 bottle pays $9.95. No subscription, no bump. Then four upsells, each its own VSL with a "read option": Primera 6 bottles $174, NewEra Glow (skin) 6 bottles $204, NewEra Melt (weight) $59, NewEra Restore $59. The host's point: start niche (bladder), fan out to mass-market problems (skin, weight, "hormonal health all around like menopause").

FOTW analysed 1,710 live static ads. Target, in the host's words: "Women, 40-65, who feel dismissed by the medical system." 85% of ads assume the woman already knows she has the problem; there are no awareness campaigns. Fear hooks 42%, curiosity 48%. Traffic goes to listicles and personal-narrative pages, never to a product page: the Uflora UTI listicle absorbs 1,020 ads, the Provitalean "anti-rebound protocol" page 366. The checkout carries the same consent line as BBCo ("one-time purchases are backed by a 90-day money-back guarantee only for my first order. Subscriptions… are not covered") and a single $5.25 shipping option. Both brands list 304 S. Jones Blvd, Las Vegas in their email footers, and FOTW's 2026 BBCo video shows BBCo pages sending ads to rejuveen.com, so treat these as one operator running two menopause-adjacent storefronts.

The PDP is a Shopify product page doing the job of an advertorial. Title swapped for a headline ("New Maximum Potency Formula, Lymphatic Drainage Capsules"), then "Your Body Has A Hidden Drainage System, And After 35 It Stops Working" with an estrogen-decline chart, a "Stories of Sculptique Women" video carousel, "We're on a mission to help 100,000 women", four stacked CTAs. Ads come from six doctor personas (hepatologist, cardiologist, endocrinologist, urologist…) and sell the same capsule to "a scared 50-to-80 medical buyer". The host flags the seam: the ad says kidney or liver, the page bottom says firmer skin.
Checkout. Buy box default is Buy 2 Get 1 Free, 3 bottles $59.99 (1 bottle $29.99, 5 bottles $89.99). The winning PDP does not surface a subscription. Before checkout a four-step popup takes 10% off, then email, then a verified phone number (Postscript). Checkout has no cart page, a 4.8 Trustpilot bar, a 60-day badge and "your order is reserved for 6:55 minutes". Three upsells (Magnesium + D, Turmeric BioPerine $25 "3.2x faster", shipping protection). The thank-you page books a free health-coach consultation. The host's test order went from $29.99 past $130.

Moringa capsules at $39.95 with a Buy 1 Get 1 offer applied at checkout (a $19.97 "OCU discount"). The on-page cart carries "customers also bought" cross-sells, then a pre-checkout popup: "Here's a Special One Time Offer… Add Another Bottle of Rosabella Moringa For 50% OFF!" ($19.98). The checkout shows recurring-charge language ("charges at the listed price and frequency until canceled", "Recurring subtotal"), so the subscription is selected by the time the buyer reaches it. Post-purchase: 3 more bottles at $27 each, a downsell of 2 at $19, Absorb Max 3 for $16 each, then a post-purchase bump for one more bottle at $19.98 that requires re-entering payment. FOTW's read of the ads: dominated by Stage 2 problem-aware video ("Pee & Puffiness"), and roughly $7M from TikTok Shop in 180 days.

All emails below are captured PDFs from the FOTW courses, opened and read. SMS: every checkout in the set has an SMS opt-in box, but the library holds no SMS captures for any of these brands. Sculptique and Rejuveen (beyond day 8) have no email captures. Day 0 is the order date.
Caveat: the test order landed six days before Black Friday, so days 6 to 11 are promo-heavy. The non-promo skeleton is still visible.

The sequence has been stable for at least nine months; the autoship pitch moved from day 17 (2025) to a 20%-off reorder at day 26 (2026).

Day 4: out for delivery, "Your $10 credit expires soon". Day 8: "Your next bottle's on us!" Age evidence is what the pages and the FOTW host state. Happy Mammoth's checkout claims "Trusted by over 2.4 million happy customers"; BBCo's lander claims "Over 9 Million Bottles Sold" and its FAQ addresses "websites criticizing the authenticity of Provitalize", which is a brand that has been around long enough to have detractors; Primera is described by the host as "a top ClickBank offer for a while now" with earlier 16-17 minute upsell VSLs. On the other side, FOTW's July 2025 course opens with "The founders of… Norse Organics & Frøya just launched another brand: Arctic Goddess" (its checkout header nonetheless says "Since 2019"), Rejuveen's ad pages show "Launched January 2026" in the ad library, Sculptique's traffic was falling from a March 2026 peak when captured, and Rosabella launched on TikTok Shop around April 2025.
| What the older brands do | Evidence (older) | What the newer brands do instead |
|---|---|---|
| One-time purchase, guarantee-backed, then a 3-bottle upsell | Happy Mammoth: "No subscription model offered", 2 upsells. BBCo: "All Orders Are One-Time Purchases Only", OTO 1 completes the 3-bottle path. Primera: 1/3/6 grid, 4 upsells | Arctic: subscription on by default, no upsell. Rosabella and Primal Queen: recurring pre-selected, bump instead of a bottle-count argument |
| Answer the objection in the buyer's own questions | BBCo: "Top 24 Questions Customers Had Asked Before Ordering", incl. "Will Provitalize work for me if I'm not dieting or working out?" Happy Mammoth: age and stage quiz before any copy | Arctic: a 4-tile quiz and a short FAQ. Sculptique: no FAQ on the winner PDP, a contradictory 60/90-day guarantee. Rejuveen: the listicle carries the objection handling; the PDP does not |
| Two weeks of education before asking for money again | BBCo: daily habit series days 7-12, first discount ask on day 26, first cross-sell on day 5 is framed as "why 1+1=3". Primera: 9 days of pelvic-floor and menopause content before promos | Arctic: 5 transactional emails, then a flash sale on day 31. Rosabella: consultation push from day 4, 54% off by day 9, reorder by day 14 |
| A named human in the inbox | BBCo "Emily, Community Manager" then "Linda, Chief Customer Officer". Happy Mammoth's thank-you from co-founder Matthew Murphy | Arctic and Rosabella send as the brand. NewEra's "Alex Miller" is a persona that later sends affiliate offers |
| Self-service cancel and a fraud-check email | BBCo: "Cancel One-Time Order" on the thank-you page; "Action Required: Confirm Your Order" on day 0 | Not seen on any 2025-26 launch in the set |
| Expectation-setting tied to the bottle count | BBCo: "It takes time for the thermogenic probiotics… to colonise the gut. If you stop… too early (e.g. 1 month)… all of the positive benefits will quickly disappear." Day 16 email: "79% love their results. 21% see nothing. Why?" | Arctic: "start working within 24 hours". Rosabella: "Good Things Take Time" without a number |
Ryan's stated gap is that Hippie Farms' copy under-serves "will this work for me?". The seven funnels above answer it with structure, not ingredient claims. Each move below points at a page in this report.
